Steven Tennessen, President
Steve is the President and founder of Astron Electronics, Inc. Astron Electronics, Inc. was started in 1994 after a successful stint in distribution. Steve was part owner and CEO of Inductive Components and Crystal, a component distributor based in Orange County. In 2000, Astron Electronics, Inc., acquired Gravley and Associates a very well-known and well respected manufacturers' representative firm in Southern California. The successful marriage of the two companies helped Astron grow to become one of the premier manufacturer's representative firms in Southern California.

Steve was educated at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in Business. He is an active member of ERA National, Southern CA ERA, and ERA San Diego. Steve is on the Board of the Southern CA chapter of ERA, currently serving as the Vice President. In the past he was the Assistant Show Director for the SOCALEE trade show, now known as the OCEShow, which he was part owner of. Steve is a member of the Radio Pioneers, an exclusive electronics industry group started in 1929 based in Southern CA.

Mindy Cadiz, General Manager
Mindy has been with Astron for over 10 years. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a BS in Business Marketing. Mindy is the General Manger and Corporate Secretary for Astron. She manages the Inside and Outside sales team, coordinates principal visits, tradeshows, and principal reporting. She ensures that all requests for samples and quotes are handled by the proper salesperson and followed up accordingly with the principal helping our sales staff close New Business Opportunities

Michael Singer, Field Sales Manager - San Diego & Imperial
Mike was the Regional Sales Manager with the Polese Company. Prior to that he was the Regional Sales Manager at Ametek. Mike has over 30 years of Sales Management and Field Sales experience, six of them with Astron. He is well versed in multiple industrial and technology manufacturing processes. He has a strong background in selling many types of Electronic Components. Mike has a Bachelors Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix. He and several of his customers are members of the Palomar Amateur Radio Club in San Diego. He holds a General license.

Mike covers San Diego and Imperial counties. Mike manages the field sales personnel. He helps plan principal visits and coordinates all field activities. Mike covers San Diego and Imperial Counties. He is an active member of the San Diego chapter of ERA, AFCEA, and IMAPS. His knowledge and sales ability bring us New Business Opportunities on a regular basis.

Debra Reiter, Field Sales - Orange & Riverside
Prior to joining Astron, Debra did field sales selling to the industrial market. Debra has been with Astron for over four years. She has successfully penetrated many OEM's and grew her territory to the second largest one in the company. Her personality and professionalism help her earn key relationships with key OEM’s.

Debra covers the greater part of Orange County and Riverside Her efforts and relationships, bring New Business Opportunities to Astron on a regular basis.

Travis McKague, Field Sales - Southern LA, & San Bernardino
Travis came to Astron with over 10 years technical sales experience. His background consists of working in both for component manufacturers and distribution. His previous employment was as a regional sales manager for a manufacturer of specialty European Wire & Cable. Also, he worked as a sales engineer for a major connector manufacturer. He has extensive experience on calling on military, medical, automation, electronic and industrial accounts throughout Southern California. Travis has been in southern California for 10 years He grew up in the SF Bay area and resides in Santa Monica, CA. Travis graduated from Saint Mary's College in Moraga, CA.

Travis covers Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties. Travis’s product knowledge and sales ability help to bring Astron New Business Opportunities on a regular basis.

Loren Kofsky, Field Sales - Northern LA, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Kern, & San Luis Obispo.
Loren worked as a sales engineer for a major CNC Tool Automation company covering industrial accounts in the USA and Canada. He has extensive experience with industrial hardware and software applications for the manufacturing industry. He has also developed training programs and coursework in direct marketing and consultative selling techniques for the Software and E-Commerce industries. Loren is centrally located to all of his customers in the Valley.

Loren covers Northern Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley (Ventura & Kern Counties), Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo. His experience with major OEM accounts brings us New Business Opportunities on a regular basis.

Paul Galletta, Field Application Engineer
Paul has been with Astron for almost 6 years now. He comes to Astron after being the National Sales Manager for Teledyne Microelectronics here in Los Angeles. He spent 30 plus years with Teledyne, selling a variety of micro-electronics and hybrid components. Paul has a top secret clearance and has sold to the military for over 30 years.

Paul is responsible for covering Military accounts in the greater Los Angeles area, which includes parts of San Bernardino & Orange County. Astron New Business Opportunities on a regular basis.

Bud Hill, Field Sales - San Diego & Mexico
Enrique Loma (Bud Hill) has over 15 years experience dealing with the Maqilladora industry of Mexico. He has a total of 20 years of selling electronics is Southern California as both a distributor and a manufacturer representative. His most recent position was with West Electronics. Bud has worked with Astron for over 7 years.

Bud is responsible for South San Diego and Baja Mexico. His knowledge and relationships with Mexican customers, bring New Business Opportunities to Astron on a regular basis.

Victoria Dunn, Distribution Sales
Victoria is responsible for inside sales and distribution sales. She worked in the commodity industry for the past 12 years, where she was used to making over 100 calls day. Victoria call's on all non focus accounts in the territory. Her goal is to grow sales buy complimentary selling the line card to all of these new prospects. She will handle every lead and request we receive and qualify it for proper referral to the principal or distributor. Through her phone call and email follow-ups with our customers she receives New Business Opportunities on a regular basis.

Cindy Amezquita, Customer Service
Cindy is responsible for customer service. She is the liaison between our customers, our field sales team, and our principals. Cindy ensures that all orders placed with Astron turn into repeat business, by following up with the customers after the PO has been shipped. She is responsible for answering the phone, principal reporting, and database updating. By calling customers for repeat orders and establishing relationships with them she receives New Business Opportunities on a regular basis.

Jennifer Droney, HR & Accounting
Jennifer worked with Astron back in 1998 through 2002 and then she moved to Hawaii. For some reason, that is unexplainable, she left Hawaii and is now back with us, in total Jen has worked for Astron for over 10 years. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a BA in Psychology, Jen is responsible Human Resources and Accounts Payable.
