Steven
Tennessen, President
Steve
is the President and founder of Astron Electronics,
Inc. Astron
Electronics, Inc. was started
in 1994 after a successful stint in distribution.
Steve was part owner and CEO of Inductive
Components and Crystal, a
component distributor based in Orange County.
In 2000, Astron Electronics,
Inc., bought Gravley and Associates, Inc. a
very well-known
and well respected manufacturers' representative
firm in Southern California.
The successful marriage of the two companies
helped Astron grow to become one of the premier
manufacturers representative firms in Southern
California.
Steve
was educated at the University of
Wisconsin-Whitewater in Business. He is an active
member of ERA National, Southern CA ERA, and ERA San
Diego. Steve is on the Board of the Southern
CA chapter of ERA, as the Treasurer. In the past he
was the Assistant Show Director for the SOCALEE
trade show, now known as the OCEShow, which he is
part owner of. Steve is a member of the
Radio Pioneers, an exclusive electronics industry
group started in 1929 based in Southern CA.

Mindy
Cadiz, General Manager
Mindy
has been with Astron for over 7 years
now. She
graduated from California State
University, Long Beach, with a BS in
Business Marketing.
She still attends CSULB and is
working towards her MBA.
Mindy
is the General Manger and Corporate
Secretary for Astron.
She manages
the Inside and Outside sales team,
coordinates principal visits, tradeshows,
and Principal reporting.
She ensures that all requests for
samples and quotes are handled by the
proper salesperson and followed up
accordingly with the principal helping our

Michael
Singer, Field Sales Manager - San Diego & Imperial
Prior
to joining Astron, Mike was the Regional Sales
Manager with the Polese Company.
Prior to that he was the Regional Sales
Manager at Ametek.
Mike brings with him 25 years of Sales Management
and Field Sales experience. He is well versed in
multiple industrial and technology manufacturing
processes. He has a strong background in selling
many types of Electronic Components.
Mike
has a Bachelors Degree in Business from the
University of Phoenix. Mike and several of his
customers are members of the Palomar Amateur Radio
Club in San Diego. He holds a General license.
Mike
is the Field Sales Manager.
As our senior salesman Mike manages the
field sales personnel.
He helps plan principal visits and
coordinates all field activities.
Mike covers San Diego and Imperial
Counties.
He
is an active member of the San Diego chapter
of ERA and IMAPS. His knowledge and
sales ability bring us

Richard
Powell, Business Development - LA, Ventura, & Santa
Barbara
Richard
came to Astron with over 33 years of Field Sales
and Management experience having worked in
manufacturing, electro-mechanical component
distribution and field sales with a previous
manufacturer’s rep firm. Richard has worked for
and managed manufacturer’s reps for over 25 of
those years. Richard has a proven track record in
building sales territories and reestablishing and
generating new business from previously lost
customers. Richard has his Bachelors in Electrical
Engineering and his Masters in Marketing.
Richard
covers Northern Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley
(Ventura & Kern Counties), Santa Barbara, and
San Luis Obispo. His experience with major OEM

Monroe Bunge, Field Sales - North Orange County, LA,
& San Bernardino
Monroe
came
to Astron after many years of selling all types of
Power and Military Electronic Components in the Southern California
Territory. Monroe was the President of his
own rep firm Goldenwest Sales and
Associates. Monroe, brings a wealth of
technical knowledge to Astron. His rep firm's
product offering was very similar to Astron's.
Monroe brings along many great customer
relationships and new contacts at many key accounts.

Debra Reiter, Field Sales Orange
County & Riverside
Prior
to joining Astron, Debra did field sales selling to the
industrial market. Debra started out in distribution
sales making many buddy calls with Distributors. She
has successfully penetrated many OEM's and worked her way
up to Field Sales. Her personality and professionalism
made it clear that she would do wonders making key
relationships with our OEM's. Debra specializes with
our high end industrial, Medical, and commercial accounts.

Paul Galletta, New Business Development - Military
Paul has been with Astron for over five years. He
came to after being the National Sales Manager for
Teledyne Microelectronics here in Los Angeles.
Paul spent 30 plus years with Teledyne, selling a
variety of micro-electronics and hybrid components.
Paul's is a degreed Engineer and works very well in
design Engineering. He is constantly working on
new designs with his customers.
Paul
is responsible for Southern Los Angeles and he is
our Military Guru covering select military
accounts in San Bernardino and Orange County.

Bud Hill, New Business Development -
San Diego & Mexico
Enrique
Loma (Bud Hill) is responsible for Southern San Diego and
Baja Mexico. Bud
brings over 15 years experience dealing with the Maqilladora
industry of Mexico.
He has a total of 20 years of selling electronics is
Southern California as both a distributor and a manufacturer
representative.
His most recent position was with West Electronics.

Taylor Whitney,
Inside
& Distribution Sales
Taylor is responsible for OEM inside sales.
She is the liaison between our customers, the
field sales team, and our principals.
Taylor ensures that all orders placed with Astron
turn into repeat business,
by following up with the customers after the PO has been
shipped.
Taylor also follows up on all trade show, internet, and other marketing leads to gain

Jessica Younghans, Customer
Service
Jessica is responsible for customer service, principal reporting,
Accounts receivable, and Commissions. Jessica enters the
manual commissions from commission reports into
the ESI database. She
alerts the salesmen of any new opportunity or customer found
in the commission statements to the specific field salesman.
The
detailed reports that she performs with the commission
statements and from our Salespersons reports helps the field salesmen find

Business Opportunities.

Jennifer
Droney,
Accounting
Jennifer
worked with Astron way back in 1998 through 2002 and
then she moved to Hawaii. For some reason, that is
not explainable, she left Hawaii and is now with back with
Astron, in total Jen has worked for Astron for over 7 years. Jen is responsible
Human Resources and Account's Payable.
Her longevity and
understanding of Astron's business philosophy help bring
