Astron Electronics has been representing quality electronics manufacturers across Southern California for over 30 years. The relationships are built, our line card is strong, and the LA South Bay and San Bernardino territory is ready for someone who wants to grow with it and grow within the company.
Astron is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to support the Los Angeles / Inland Empire territory (zip codes 900–912, 915–918, 923–924). Territory assignments may be adjusted based on business needs.
This territory has momentum. Now it needs the right person to own it.
WHAT YOU'RE WALKING INTO:
This is a work-from-home role with real field expectations, and a territory that has been growing steadily for over three years.
The customer base skews heavily toward military and aerospace, which means you're calling on serious buyers: procurement and engineering contacts at OEMs who expect technical credibility and consistent presence. Five customer meetings and lunches per week is the baseline, not the ceiling. Astron covers the cost of those lunches because building the right relationships is the job, and we invest accordingly.
You'll represent a line card built for this market. Anderson Power, Acumentrics, MegaPhase, TT Electronics, Schaffner, LEM, Adam Tech, and Gaia Converter are brands that are recognized in mil/aero applications and will help you get in the door. The full card is at astron1.com/manufacturers.

WHERE THIS CAN GO:
This isn't a dead-end outside sales seat. This position offers a clear path to Sales Manager for the right person; someone who proves they can manage a territory and demonstrates the ability to lead their fellow Business Development Managers in managing their respective territories.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
You have experience selling in the electronics industry and preferably has established relationships with customers. You know how to manage a territory independently, you don't need to be chased for follow-ups, and you're comfortable being the face of the company in front of a customer.
You're not looking for a corporate machine. You want an entrepreneurial environment where your results speak for themselves and you have direct access to leadership.
WHAT ASTRON OFFERS:
Base salary: $80,000
Commission on territory sales.
